Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the tent reservation?

We do all the work!  We will deliver, set up, decorate and pick-up everything the following day.  For complete package descriptions, refer to our tent package page.

How do I book my tent sleepover event?

Fill out our booking forms and we will get back to you within 24 hours, via email with a proposal.  Once you've received your proposal:

  • Review your chosen theme and add-ons

  • Sign the contract

  • Make a non-refundable deposit of $100

Full balance is due one week prior to the event date. There will be a $100 incidental fee added to all packages.  If damages or lost items do not occur to Balloon & Tent Co.'s property, you will be refunded within 48 hours of the event ending.  

How long do I have the tent rentals for?

Our rents are one night rentals.  We will coordinate a time the day of the party to setup and schedule a time the next morning for pickup.  These times are all subject to change with schedule.

How much space is required for the tents?

Each tent is approximately 4 ft wide and 6 ft long.  Remember to leave enough space for walkway and safe sleeping.

Will you move furniture to make room for the tents?

We require that. the designated party area be clean and cleared of furniture prior to the time of setup.

How long will it take to setup and take down?

The tents are dependent upon which add ons are chosen (Example, balloon wall garland, etc.). The basic tent setup is about 1..5-2 hours long.  Take down is generally 45 minutes to an hour.

For the tents, do my guests need to bring a pillow and sleeping bag?

We do not provide sleeping pillows.  Our tents include a throw blanket and decorative pillows.  We recommended guests bring their own sleeping pillow and blankets.

Can I change the number of tents rented or change the decor prior to the sleepover date?

You have 7 days prior to your event to change or alter the number of tents.  If you need to decrease the number of tents less than a week before your event, you may be subject to a fee of $50 per tent.

How is everything cleaned?

Our clients health and safety are our top priority.  All equipment is disinfected, spot cleaned and professionally laundered.

What areas do you service?

We will travel!  We service all of Central Pennsylvania including Southern York County, Cumberland County and Lancaster County.  Not sure if we service your area?  Send us a message and we will help!

Things to Remember

Rental Items

Rental items are examined after supplies are picked up by Balloon & Tent Co. If no damage has occurred, the deposit will be refunded.  Balloon & Tent Co, will deduct damage from the deposit. If cost exceeds the deposit, the client will be billed accordingly.

Smoke-Free Environment

All parties must be set up in a smoke-free environment.  We reserve the right to charge $100 cleaning fee as well as the surrender of your deposit if the rented products are soiled with the smell of smoke.

Pets

We love pets but ask that no pets are in or directly around the party setup area.

Food & Beverage

Light snacks may be eaten instead tents and on rugs (ex. popcorn, chips).

While we completely understand accidental may occur, you may be held responsible for any damage to the rented supplies.  Stains of any kind on the tent or party rentals will incur a $100 cleaning fee and loss of the deposit.
